Hey there Let's dive into one of the coolest mascots out there: the Surf Riders. You might have guessed it, but this mascot is all about catching those gnarly waves. Two schools in Hawaii, Kailua High School and Kealakehe High School, proudly call themselves the Surf Riders and Waveriders, respectively. The Kailua Surfriders are probably the most well-known, but Kealakehe's Waveriders are unique as they are the only ones with this name in the entire country [ICON_surfing]. These mascots embody the spirit of surfing, which is a big deal in Hawaii, especially since the state was set to be the first to sanction surfing as a sport back in 2013.
