The Jaguar mascot is definitely one of the coolest and toughest-sounding out there Imagine a school spirit animal that's as fierce and powerful as a real jaguar. This mascot is used by several schools, including some in the U.S., like the University of South Alabama and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). What's interesting is that the University of South Alabama actually had a live jaguar named Mischka as their mascot back in the late 1960s.
