The tradition of having a bison as a mascot started back in 1934, but Ralphie as we know her today first appeared in 1966. Here’s a fun fact: Ralphie gets her name from a couple of different stories, but one version says it was inspired by the noise she makes, which is pretty cool. Despite being called a buffalo, Ralphie is actually a bison 🐃, and she's known for her energetic runs around the field before games. With six different Ralphies over the years, each one has brought their own unique spirit to the games 💪.
